Developer Blackbird Interactive and publisher Prime Matter have updated the Steam page of RTS Crossfire: Legion to announce that the Early Access launch is being delayed from April 26 to May 24, 2022.
The team had a wealth of feedback from players during the Technical Test and Demo, and can now implement certain changes more comfortably: this ranges from squashing bugs to optimizing graphical performance. It also gives the developers more time to refine the game based on the work with community council. The team is listening to feedback because the game ultimately is shaped and driven by the players.
“Unfortunately, we must cancel the free play test (originally planned for April 21st) so that we can continue to focus on all the players feedback. And so while our current priority is getting the game ready for Early Access, once that’s released we can assess the possibility of a platform for free tests afterwards.”
