Deliver Us Mars Aims For The Red Planet With September Release Date

Prepare to launch into a brand new adventure, following the fate of humanity all the way to Mars. Frontier Foundry has confirmed that Deliver Us Mars, the follow-up to 2018’s Deliver Us The Moon, is ready to land across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 27 September.

Almost a decade aft\er our previous trip to outer space, Deliver US Mars follows the tale of Kathy Johanson, who joins the crew of the Zephyr space shuttle on a desperate mission to the Red Planet. With Earth’s biosphere slowly fizzling out, this shot in the dark is out to bring back an advanced piece of technology that could help save what remains of humanity’s home. Unfortunately, the vital colonization vessels known as the ARKs were stolen by the shadowy ‘Outward’ organization several years earlier.

Much like the Deliver Us The Moon, this journey will challenge players with platforming challenges, solving complex puzzles, scuba diving, floating in zero gravity, and even executing a thrilling launch sequence inside a spaceship. A strong narrative arc, a deeply personal motivation for our central protagonist, and a stunning set of backdrops are just some of the things fans of the first can look out for when they strap in this time. PC, PlayStation® 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners will have an added extra with ray tracing fully supported out in the depths of space and across the dunes of Mars. Hopefully, we won’t open up a DOOM sized gate to Hell, but let’s just wait and see. For now, you can check out the trailer above and find out more about Deliver Us Mars over on the official website now.
