Available today and published by the team at Neon Doctrine, My Lovely Wife has been marked in our calendars since the initial news of its beta test back in December 2021. While it might look like a different take on Sucker for Love or a darker side of Moster Prom, this succubus styled narrative is something very different. Mashing up ideas from dating sim staples, and adding in some other inventive ideas, this title follows the exploits of a husband driven by grief and capable of doing some very strange things.
After losing his wife, loving husband, and widower Jake is granted the knowledge to summon dozens of succubae by a mysterious man. Where some might e tempted to simply play the game and date them, there’s an odd end for these demon spawn. Once they fall for you, it’s time to sacrifice them to create a vessel for your wife’s soul. With 20 succubae to enchant and over 40 potential endings, you’ll need to pray your summoning spells work and ensure that you keep your story straight while juggling each line of romance. Mashing up a mix of dating, management, and alchemy simulations, this seems like more than a gothy art reskin of other monstrous adventures.
