Destiny’s Sword Early Access Incoming

Destiny's Sword early access

2Dogs Games and Bonus Stage Publishing have announced that Destiny’s Sword will be entering Steam early access on October 17, 2022. The game offers players a unique twist on the genre where “empathy will be the most powerful tool” in a player’s arsenal. Players will also find many familiar features, including narrative gameplay, RPG progression, and visual novel graphics. Fans interested in trying out the game can purchase it for $7.99 to become part of early access.

Players are offered a chance to look at the effects of battle on their squad of NPCs. The mental well-being of these characters takes center stage in a world where “bodies can be healed in minutes but the wounds technology can’t conquer are within the mind.” Players take the role of a seasoned commander of a squad of troopers. Each trooper has his or her own story to tell and their own reasons for being involved in the conflict. It’s up to the player to learn about each one. Leadership abilities will affect their mental and physical health. Players will need to get to know their squad to keep them healthy in all ways.

The story has been penned by renowned author M.D. Cooper who has written over 80 novels, including the Aeon 14 series and Lucidium Run, the prequel novel to the game.
