Developer Blizzard Entertainment has taken to the official site to reveal that another batch of content updates is now live. Additionally, the team decided to provide clarity around the content update cadence for the game going forward. The plan is to release new content for Diablo Immortal every two weeks, coming in a form of either a Mini or a Major update.
With Mini Updates, players can anticipate seeing new content such as Battle Pass seasons, in-game events, feature updates, and more. In Major Updates, players can anticipate seeing content such as new gameplay features, free storyline expansions, in-game events, and more.
“It’s important to note that all content mentioned above is not mutually exclusive to a Mini or Major content update and may sometimes just be released once it has reached a state of quality worthy of our players. Bug fixes and quality of life updates will continue to be communicated on a frequent basis on both our All-Platforms and PC-specific blogs. We’re communicating this cadence not only to provide additional transparency to the Diablo Immortal community, but to also equip you with more knowledge around our post-launch content release cycle.”
The developers have also taken time to introduce players to Season Three Battle Pass: Aspect of Justice. A new Battle Pass devoted to transcending into an Aspect of Justice has arrived, and with it, Season Three begins on August 4, at 3:00 a.m. server time. The Aspect of Justice Battle Pass is host to 40 ranks-worth of challenges and rewards, such as Legendary Gems, Crests, Hilts, and more.
There are two paid versions of the Battle Pass: the Empowered Battle Pass and the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, each featuring its own rewards. The Season Tree Battle Pass will be running until September 1st, so don’t miss out on your goodies! Check out the official site to learn more.
