Disney and Gameloft have revealed the name of Disney Speedstorm’s second season. “To Infinity and Beyond” pretty clearly hints at some new racers coming to the multiplatform game straight out of the Toy Story franchise. When Season 2 launches on June 13th, players can hit the track with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, and Jessie. According to the dev team, these new racers bring a “new level of competition to the game.”
Toy Story fans will have even more themed delight thanks to the addition of the new racing environment based on Andy’s Room. This new location has been taken straight out of the feature films and will be instantly recognizable to fans.
Season 2 will also introduce two iconic characters from Mickey Mouse’s first animated cartoon. Steamboat Mickey and Steamboat Pete will enter the game in all their black-and-white glory.
