Milestone and Mattel have announced a new entry in the Hot Wheels series of games. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is the latest game and it’s coming much sooner than you may think. Pre-orders have already opened for the game, which is targeting an October 19th release date. The game will be available across every conceivable system: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Developers released a new trailer to showcase some of the new locations, tracks, and cars players will at their disposal.
Players can choose from any one of three available pre-order packages. Each comes with its own in-game goodies as well as with a digital copy of the game.

- Deluxe Edition: full game, Season Pass Vol. 1, Rust and Fast Pack DLC, Unstoppables Pack DLC
- Legendary Edition – full game, Season Pass Vol. 1, Season Pass Vol. 2, Rust and Fast Pack DLC, Unstoppables Pack DLC, Speed Kings Pack DLC, Just a Scratch Pack DLC
When the game launches, players will have access to over 130 vehicles, including new types such as motorcycles and ATVs. With these new vehicles, players can race across five settings with unique terrains that can affect every aspect of the race. Vehicles can also engage with objects both on and off the track.
HWU2:T will offer all this in a variety of new game modes, including racing against time and rivals, mastering the art of high-speed drifting, or simply colliding with opponents to score points. It’s all about fun and challenge, both in single-player and multiplayer, which includes cross-platform races thanks to cross-play*. And if you love sharing the fun with your friends, the split-screen mode will let you engage in exciting duels side-by-side on the couch.
