Back in November Bioware celebrated all things Mass Effect during the yearly N7 Day – and now it’s Dragon Age’s turn with the arrival of DA Day celebrated on December 4th. And while there were no earth-shattering gameplay or release date reveals, the studio still shared some interesting bits of information.
The team has taken to the official site with a heartfelt message that revealed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is still deep in development while Netflix animated series Dragon Age: Absolution is just around the corner. Additionally, the developers have shared a new short story and announced a small collaboration with The Sims 4.
“Whether you’re celebrating with us in-game, readying for Absolution, or waiting for Fen’Harel to make his move, we’re right there with you. Keep an eye on our social channels for more fun stuff today, and as always, have a happy Dragon Age Day!
—The (Dread) Wolf Pack”
The new short story is written by Lukas Kristjanson and is titled As We Fly. It is dedicated to the Antivan Crows and their actions as the Qunari invasion rolls into their turf. This is not the first time we have heard of the Crows’ role in the upcoming game as they have been major players in both the short stories and Tevinter Nights series. “The Antaam will rule Antiva. And Treviso will learn to kneel.”

“Fear. Guilt. Pain. Can Miriam push aside her feelings to complete her mission – or will the trauma looming over her past finally catch up with her?
Nothing is absolute.”
