Team17 and Black Salt Games have announced that pre-orders for their upcoming “sinister fishing game,” Dredge, are now open. Players can reel in a copy of the game on via Steam and GoG, the PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft Store. Switch players can check out the new demo ahead of pre-ordering a copy of the game. Those who prefer a physical edition and also pre-order via several online retailers. This version includes a physical poster, artbook, stickers, and the game’s OST.




The game puts players in the boots of a fisherman who’s just earning his chops on the sea. It is up to him to explore a collection of islands to find the best fishing places. Of course, the more exotic the fish, the better the cash reward when sold to the fishmonger. Players will want to look for a variety of fish and valuable, deep-sea curios. Selling these things to the fishmonger allows players to upgrade their trawlers and get more equipment to make fishing even more lucrative.
