Explore the Atlas of Discovery In Upcoming Melvor Idle Expansion

Melvor idle expansion - grid map partially uncovered

Jagex and Games by Malcs just announced Atlas of Discovery, a brand new Melvor Idle expansion.

Due to click across Melvor on 7 September as the latest expansion for this epic idle adventure lands. Jagex and Games by Malcs just confirmed that players eager to take on new challenges can expect a new expansion filed with challenges, rewards, and two new skills. Focused on exploration, the second major expansion to Melvor idle will allow players to get out and enjoy the enormous world of Melvor thanks to a new Cartography skill. This is joined by an Archaeology skill, allowing heroes of this realm to explore time and space, in a way.

With plenty of powerful relics scattered across the plains, Archaeology opens the door to a world of potential treasures. Each could prove crucial when entering new Combat Areas, Slayer Areas and Dungeons. Dozens of ferocious monsters are due to make a home on screen, and might even drop some of the 600 new items too. Additional equipment slots and gear tiers mean combat won’t be entirely one sided, while new combat techniques will be at hand. A new Unholy Prayer Book with 17 new Unholy Prayers should provide some respite from the wave of 46 additional monsters that await.

A full list of what’s expected to flesh out the upcoming expansion is below, and it doesn’t just include shiny pointy things. New familiars, shop upgrades, Township Tasks, and more leave lots to do outside of pillaging dungeons.
