First Disintegration tech beta begins next week

Disintegration

Disintegration is a forthcoming first-person shooter from the new studio of Marcus Lehto, one of the co-creators of the original Halo game. V1 Interactive and Private Division will be hosting the game’s first technical beta on January 28th and January 29th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC via Steam. Those who are interested in participating are invited to head to the game’s official site to sign up for a chance to participate. For those not lucky enough to be chosen, worry not! An open beta event will take place from January 31st to February 1st on all of the available platforms as well.

During the testing events, players will be able to take part in “two of the three frenetic multiplayer game modes” and help test the stability of the game client. In addition, the developers are interested in collecting feedback on the game.

These game modes will be available during both events.

  • “In Retrieval, the first game mode, players compete in two intense rounds in which one team attempts to deliver a payload which can only be carried by their ground crew while the other team defends.”
  • “In the second game mode, Control, two teams vie for domination over various capture points. Players must ensure their ground crew are alive and within the zone as this is the only way to accrue score to win the match.

Learn more and/or sign up for testing opportunities on the Disintegration official site.

About Disintegration

In Disintegration, you play an Integrated character named Romer. He’s one of many who rebelled and are now outlawed by the Rayonne.

It’s up to you to lead a small group of these Outlaws, people who have chosen to fight back and survive, into a brighter future where we protect those they care about and hope to one day become human again.
