Blue Isle Studios has announced that its gravity-defying FPS Leap is heading for consoles on March 1, 2023. Developers plan to release the game for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S with all the previously-released PC content. This includes custom private servers, a diverse array of maps and modes, and a “robust content roadmap.”
Once launched, players will be able to take to the air with hoverboards. They can glide through a “stream of new maps, modes, and scenarios” that also includes new PvP content. The latter will come from the Capture the Core mode and Dreadnought, a map set in a packed hangar with plenty of places to take cover or jump on enemies from the heights.
Creative players will want to check out the Design Works, where they can craft custom content for the community. According to the dev team, fans can modify virtually anything in the game. Players can make new game modes, build original maps, create character skins, modify vehicle physics, redesign weapons, and much more.

About Leap
In LEAP, players select from four unique hero classes, each delivering a distinct balance of power, agility and defense as well as epic abilities that bring shock and awe to their foes. Call in orbital strikes, set up automated turrets, or control guided cruise missiles as each exosuit is armed to the teeth. Large-scale combat takes place on a variety of stages and skilled mercenaries use jetpacks, grappling hooks and highly distinctive Personal Vehicles to close the distance on control points and active firefights. Nothing is more menacing than a LEAP mercenary saddled on a mechanical moose galloping at full speed!
