The developers of anime action-adventure Genshin Impact shared a new story teaser dedicated to Furina. It is a cutscene that is available as a part of her Story Quest Animula Choragi Chapter. If you haven’t finished the last chapter of Fontaine Archon Quest and Furina’s own Story Quest, beware of spoilers.
“The lights of the world reflect upon the lake, its waters rippled by her yearning.
If solitude alone be the price, then may this wish flow unfettered…
Let it cascade into the world as she beholds it, and through her gaze, clear as lakewater.”
Furina is the latest new 5-star character to join the roster of the game. She is a part of the currently available character banner. Furina is a character that uses the entire party’s HP to unleash attacks. She can use her Charged Attack to change her Arkhe and, at intervals, her Normal Attacks deal the corresponding Pneuma or Ousia-aligned Hydro damage.
- 5-star characters: Furina (Hydro Sword) & Baizhu (Dendro Catalyst).
- 4-star characters: Charlotte (Cryo Catalyst), Collei (Dendro Bow), Beidou (Electro Claymore)
The weapon banner will feature the signature weapons of Furina and Baizhu, Splendor of Tranquil Waters and Jadefall’s Splendor respectively. Additionally, the weapon banner will see that the following weapons receive a huge drop-rate boost: Sacrificial Sword (Sword), The Bell (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst), and The Stringless (Bow).
The developers have also shared the storyline extended play music video. The story OST in the videos is produced by the HOYO-MiX team and debuted in Genshin Impact’s Version 4.2 “Masquerade of the Guilty.” It is performed by French musical actress Cécilia Cara.
