Giraffe and Annika Gets New Gameplay trailers

The cute looking Giraffe and Annika just got a new gameplay trailer ahead of this charming adventure’s release in August.

While it might have an unusual name Giraffe and Annika looks set to be a completely charming platformer when it hits PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch platforms on 28 August. NIS America just unveiled a new trailer for the title, giving players who are eager to visit the island of Spica a taste of the new land that they will explore. As well as giving us a glimpse of the wider landscape and puzzles that players can overcome, the cute cartoon clip gives us a further bit of detail on the main duo’s friends and opponents.

The gameplay trailer covers the game’s core elements, taking both Annike and Giraffe on a magical journey across the island. When Annika initially awakens from a strange dream, she finds herself stranded on the mysterious “Spica Island” with no memory of how she got there. Upon exploring, she meets a boy named Giraffe, who seems to know her, and is tasked with finding three special star fragments on the island in order to unravel the mysteries of her forgotten memories. As they both explore this world, you’ll encounter some of the bosses featured in the trailer, challenging gamers to engage in a rhythm-based combat system that isn’t quite as aggressive as Gun Jam to overcome these aggressive obstacles.

Alongside this quest, both Annike and Giraffe will explore the island of Spica and taking in magical vistas and interacting with some utterly charming characters. You can check out the Giraffe and Annika gameplay trailer above and find out more about this 3D animated adventure over on the official website. If you want something more interactive to do while August comes around then I’m off to make a pair of Giraffe ears. Seriously, the template’s on the official website.
