Developer HoYoverse held the special program livestream for the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 “Into the Yawning Chasm”. The update will continue the story of Penacony in multi-narrative format, introduce new playable characters such as the long-awaited Acheron, roll out new zones and events, and much more. The developers have already teased two new characters coming in Version 2.2 – so make your choice now who gets your Stellar Jades!

Version 2.1 livestream is a special one, since Honkai: Star Rail is turning one year old very soon, and the team and Trailblazers alike are preparing to celebrate the anniversary. Expect special in-game rewards for this occasion – how does “30 extra pulls for your funds” sound?
You heard that right: to celebrate the first year of traversing among the stars, the developers are giving the community some extra juice when it comes to warping. Star Rail Special Pass x20 through the celebration check-in event as well as Stellar Jade x1600 issued by main on April 26th.
Additionally, for the first time since the release of the game HSR will get the Top-Up Bonus refresh. Trailblazers will also be able to take part in the special Cosmodyssey event and take advantage of the extra drop events Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange. Here’s the catch, though, these two will offer some bonus extra drops!
However, this is not even the most exciting part about the patch. Let’s see what else Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 has in store, starting with new characters and Light Cones!
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 Banners:
- Phase I: Acheron (5-star Lightning Nihility) & Luocha (5-star Imaginary Abundance);
- Phase II: Aventurine (5-star Imaginary Preservation) & Jingliu (5-star Ice Destruction).
The Brilliant Fixation banner will feature the appropriate signature Light Cones, including the two brand-new ones: Among the Passing Shore (Nihility) and Inherently Unjust Destiny (Preservation).
With two meta-defining DPS and two top-tier solo sustainers, you can do no wrong on these banners.
