HoYoverse Strikes Up The Band For Genshin Impact Concert 2022

After two years in Teyvat, HoYoverse has announced a new musical adventure with Genshin Impact Concert 2022 – Melodies of an Endless Journey.

Pressing play on 2 October 2022, the latest in the Genshin concert series is due to strike up a new musical twist on Teyvat. Hosted by Genshin Impact and HOYO-MiX, the newest concert from the hugely successful online RPG will be helmed by Shiro SAGISU. Acting as musical director, this renowned composer, arranger, and music producer is set to partner with the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra and a medley of other talented musicians to take a journey through two years with the Traveller.

New Horizons

Coming in at around 75 minutes of playtime, the imminent arrival of this concert will showcase a range of pieces. While fans of Genshin will recognize many of the sweeping arrangements from in-game events. These will be performed by the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, conducted by award-winning music conductor and composer, Eímear Noone.

Musical Director Shiro SAGISU brings his experience from genre staples like Neon Genesis Evangelion and will collaborate with popular bands, folk musicians, and other talented artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. The result is likely to be something familiar but very different from the traditional Genshin experience.

If you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past two years or maybe been too busy replaying the Nier Automata concert series, then there’s just about enough time to get acquainted with Genshin Impact  and the new 3.1 update. ahead of the concert. This free to play online RPG is available on iOS, Android, and PC, plunging players into a fantastic open world. Taking plenty of inspiration from anime aesthetics and setting players on a journey to discover the fate of their lost sibling, Genshin Impact unfolds a massive realm full of sights and soundtracks.
