Stick It to Them With The Monoprice Dark Matter Arcade Fighting Stick

Monoprice Dark Matter Arcade Fighting Stick

Monoprice has dropped a brand-new gaming peripheral that will let gamers get a taste of Evo at home with the Monoprice Dark Matter Arcade Fighting Stick.

Announced last week, the Monoprice Arcade Dark Matter Fighting Stick is a new arcade add on for your gaming experience that shouldn’t break your bank. Whether it’s beat em ups or retro action, arcade action covers a massive range of options, and getting an authentic feel for your home gaming setup doesn’t require an entire cabinet. Instead, arcade sticks have been bringing cab based controller sticks to home and competitive arenas for years.

Monoprice’s new Dark Matter Arcade Fighting Stick seems to be yet another budget conscious desktop addition from the electronics brand, that will likely allow competitive beat em ups and shumpers to put down the gamepad without blowing up their wallets. Priced at $120, it combines a Sanwa Denshi joystick with a customizable button layout and USB connection so gamers can play exactly the way they want. The Vewlix style button layout inserts all eight available buttons in an aluminum alloy frame for extra control, and hopefully a winning combination. This package also combines a tournament lock switch for the more competitive minded, and a turbo mode too. Owners of Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android devices can take advantage of this new device, with USB connectivity.

While the galaxy aesthetic of this arcade stick might not be something I’m desperate about, I’m sure the performance will more than hold up. After the Monoprice stereo speakers we tried out, I’d be willing to give this a try if I was any good at Dragon Ball FighterZ. Check out more and pick up yours from the official website now.
