The AGON AOC AG405UXC display now brings 40 inches of IPS clarity to your table.
If you’re looking for some wide aspect ratio and tons of peripheral detail, then the AOC AG405UXC might just be the right piece of kit for you. We’ve tried out a few beastly monitors in our time, but AOC’s newest 40-inch display is certainly a head turner. Available from June 2023 for a total of £569 or local equivalent, the new AG405UXC packs in plenty of features that seems certain to give you a great view of the battlefield.
The 40″ flat ultrawide IPS panel has plenty of room to show off its WQHD resolution of 3440×1440 resolution. While that’s great for sitting back and watching massive open world backdrops, the 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time are up with the best of the displays we’ve tested and should mean you won’t miss the objective when it spawns.
AOC’s newest comes with a bunch of other add ons too. Adaptive-Sync is built in to reduce screen tearing, while the inclusion of USB-C port with 90 W power delivery, a USB hub for convenient peripheral connection, and built-in speakers are all good to see.
Let’s be clear, the 21:9 aspect ratio and whopping 40-inch display is not going to suit everyone looking for the smallest fastest frame for Valorant, but it is a fantastic proposition for old dipping into WoW, with tons of space for those pesky add ons.
