According to VentureBeat.com, Hulu is ready to bring Hitman to life in a new small screen series. To help make sure that it’s the hit that it’s meant to be, the company has brought in John Wick creator Derek Kolstad to take on scripting duties.
The series will be based on the long-running series of video games featuring Agent 47. While the series has been in the movies a couple of times (Hitman in 2007 and again in 2015), it’s the first time it’s made the leap to Hulu.
We don’t know much about the series other than it is, but we should know more from IO Interactive soon.
Oh, in a tangential, but related, note: IO Interactive has revealed that it’s working on two brand new Hitman games. Perhaps they’ll be like the 2016 game that was oriented around chapters with Agent 47 tooling around the world seeking ot clues to a mystery.
