Kirby Consumes All In The UK Video Games Charts

Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Kirby and the Forgotten land looks likely to continue gobbling up the majority of consumer cash as it tops the UK video games charts this week.

Not long after unleashing a bout of total escapism on consumers, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is top of the Uk games charts, for the week ending 2 April. The lovable pink blob bounced into its latest adventure, taking Nintendo Switch players on a journey into Kirby’s first fully 3D escapade. Plunging players into a weird and wonderful land, Kirby must use a range of copy and consume abilities to rescue Waddle Dees kidnapped by the ferocious Beast Pack. . It’s the second week in succession that this platforming adventure has made it to the top of consumer sales, and it’s little surprise.

Between the usual entries in the sales chart, Nintendo continues to make an impression on consumers. Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Mario kart 8 Deluxe continue to hold solid in the top ten. While the Deluxe booster DLC hit shelves during March 2022, that confirms that the base game, that launched back in 2014, still has plenty of life left in it.
