Latest Starfield Patch Takes Aim at Bugs and Annoying Glitches

Bethesda has announced the release of the largest Starfield patch to date that takes aim at bugs and annoying glitches. The patch notes read like a laundry list of fixes that touch on nearly every aspect of the game, including animations, enemies, crew, companions, graphics, outposts, quests, and much more.

Significant updates in new patch

This new patch targets several key areas, areas where players should notice a significant improvement in their overall experience.

  • The save game corruption issue has been addressed.
  • Players will no longer have rogue asteroids follow their ship once a field has been passed.
  • Game graphics, textures, lighting, shadows, and more offer players a much smoother visual experience.

Bethesda seems keen to keep rolling out patches that address bugs and other issues. It is part of the ongoing effort to improve Starfield based on player feedback and a somewhat lackluster response to what developers hoped would become “Skyrim in space.” Hopefully, all of these updates and patches will take care of technical issues and lay the groundwork for future content additions.
