The free-to-play game is based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, with events occurring shortly after the cartoon’s ending. Players will relive the journey of Aang and his friends while experiencing gameplay via turn-based, squad RPG gameplay. Players can assemble and customize their own team while playing through some of the most iconic moments from the Avatar universe. In addition, developers are adding new and original content that expands the lore of the Four Nations. Players will learn to master elements and skills to balance the spiritual and physical planes.

Generations closely follows the iconic plot points of the television series, featuring familiar faces along the way, such as Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Toph, and the Cabbage Merchant. Each character has unique skills so players can level up their custom Team Avatar. Players can also equip support companions to strengthen their team, including the beloved Momo and Appa. New content will be added regularly, following the journeys of other Avatars, including The Legend of Korra.

According to developers, generations will be a free-to-play mobile game with all the features players expect of a premium AAA title. Players will collect, upgrade, and customize heroes along the epic quest line. Battles are said to be immersive and engaging, with unique team combos to keep things spicy.
