Developer Riot Games is back with a new teaser for MOBA League of Legends. This time the team dangles the promise of continuing the epic Coven skin line with a plethora of exciting additions.
The teaser, titled The Siren’s Call, is just a minute long but it reveals that something wicked this way comes! Make the world anew with Coven Nami, Elise, Akali, Syndra, Nilah, and Old God Mordekaiser on October 11. If you wanted to celebrate Halloween in Runeterra, now you have perfect looks to go with the flow.
“Something lurks within these wicked woods. Past roots run deep, entangled with what remains of your forgotten gods. Tell me, sisters. What moves both dead and depths alike? It’s… there. The Leviathan, dreaming in the deep. I shall ensure the rising tide, and your gods will drown beneath our waters! Oh, my sisters… You are out of your depth.”
The Coven, Old Gods, Eclipse Knights and Sun-Eater Kayle coexist in an alternate LoL universe, dubbed the Eclipse Universe. Long ago, an order of monastic knights slew the vile gods of the old world, using esoteric powers granted by the moon and sun. Now the world has grown dark and violent, as those selfsame deities prepare their return—challenged only by the light of the eclipse.
The witches lay in wait, a sisterhood of frightening pulchritude, their hopes whispered forth from desacralized lips.
