Look for thrills & chills in next week’s Rocket League update

Rocket League

When Rocket League is updated next week, it will bring plenty of thrills and chills with it. Racers will be able to take part in Haunted Hallows, the game’s annual Halloween event. In addition, a number of improvements to key features are queued for the update as well.

Let’s dive into the details.

During Haunted Hallows, players can dress up their vehicles in appropriately Halloween-like colors and earn Candy Corn as they play. However, devs have given players a heads up that this year’s event isn’t the same as before and that it’s “ready to flip what you expect from the usual Haunted Hallows”. More details are expected to be revealed later this week.

A new function is being added for “post-game party-up”. At the end of a match, a new button will appear on the post-game menu. Those who wish to will automatically be placed together for the next match.

Players will also find the new Quickplay Button for each playlist once the update is live. This gets everyone into a match quickly and easily.

A new welcome screen will greet players logging into the game. Gone is the old panel on the right side of the screen. The welcome panel will provide players with all sorts of news and information about DLC, events, tournaments, and more.
