The new preview includes a bunch of assets, artwork , and detail about the locals in Grat. After protagonist Flora arrives in the town, players will have an opportunity to interact with a host of interesting pathfinders and the witch covens covered in today’s drop. The Shena Circle and the Keskar Dawn are both sects working to guard magic. Erach taking a very different approach to protecting that magic, they may align with your approach to upcoming challenges or stand in your way.

The Shena Circle is a coven of witches who believe the river that runs through the island where Grat is located is the sole sacred source of the Mist, which allows them to wield water-based magic. These witches believe everything coming from the Mist must be accepted as a nourishing gift to the greater good of the town. On the other hand, The Keskar Dawn is a group of vigilante magi who seek to protect magical beings and oppose the increased research by adventures and academics alike in their safe haven, the river’s wellspring. The Keskar Dawn wields umbral magic and believes leaving the river wellspring untouched will be the best for Grat.

We’ve added the new artwork here, and if you’re as intrigued by the designs then there’s plenty of time to prepare your palette. The publisher behind Mythwrecked and Calico is set to plate up a metroidvania-light where Flora ventures out among the wider world, learns about the town, and cooks magical delicacies from a vast collection of ingredients in her shop. It strikes a familiar chord to the likes of Cuisineer and Moonlighter, garnished with its own personality and ideas. If you’d like to find out more, check out the Magical Delicacy website now.
