Warner Bros. Games has announced that MultiVersus has been updated to bring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson into the game. He appears in his Black Adam character variant and accompanies the all-new Game of Thrones map. Developers have also announced the arrival of the FestiVersus Winter Event that runs from now through January 12th.
The recent film inspired the Black Adam variant and features the likeness of Dwayne Johnson. Players can purchase this unique variant from the in-game shop as part of Season 2.
Players can also check out the new Game of Thrones map set in the “legendary Throne Room.” It is available to play in all modes and is included as part of the playlist rotation. Players will be able to toss enemy combatants away from the Iron Throne. Along the way, they’ll have to avoid Westeros-themed hazards. Of course, good listeners will be treated to a remix of the series theme music.
Lastly, the FestiVersus event has landed in the game, allowing players to participate in matches to earn Holiday Cookies. These event tokens can be traded for rewards, including the Ugly Sweater Superman variant. Other rewards include the Gingerbread Toast profile icon, the Snowman ringout, and the Let it Snow sticker emote. Players who log in and play the game on 12 separate days from now through January 12th earn increasing amounts of Holiday Cookies for the effort. In addition, they’ll earn the MVSnowflake profile icon on the 12th day!
