New World, the MMORPG from Amazon Games is set to launch Season 4, Eternal Frost on 12 December.
The changing seasons brings many things in Aeternum, mostly new playable content. Knight of the Round Table has unearthed forbidden knowledge of the Ancients, seeking to subjugate humanity with the power of an eternal winter. Rally your team, and convince a surly fire mage named Daichi to help track down and vanquish the Knight before he lays waste to Aeternum. Even after that trouble is overcome, you’ll likely want to take on the new Level 65 Expedition set in the Great Cleave. Glacial Tarn is a cavernous frozen complex with a blood sucking host. Lovely Christmas cheer awaits. Probably not.
Like any good quest, it’s not all about being a hero. There are rewards too. Eight new Artifacts will help redefine your playstyle, providing options like the Boltcaster Bow, Winged Shoes, and more for what awaits. There’s a new Sason pass, with even more loot. A Winter Convergence Festival offers up festivities, and y still more loot. If you’re sick of all the looting and cheering, then head out into the open world and take down the Winter Warrior and his legion of Frigid Folk in a 20_player event too.
