Party Animals Steam Deck brings Lunar new Year celebrations and tons of new features for this furry fighter.
Recreate Games has announced a celebration in party brawler Party Animals. The chaotic battles and close claws of this cuddly arena adventure can now be fund on Steam Deck. The news that the title now comes with Steam Deck Support means that anybody with one of Valve’s incredible handheld gaming machines can expect the fight to run seamlessly, whether they fight, bite, or gallop their way to victory online or in local co-op.
As the Lunar new Year ticks over and plenty of gamers need to head out on the go, there’s possibly no better way to in furry-ate your friends and family than by taking this zoo on the go and trying out all the new content that’s been announced.
New Map
Players who haven’t had a chance to enter the arena lately can find an entirely new map waiting for them. The Team Score map, aptly named “Luggage Chaos,” adds havoc to the hassle of handling luggage at an airport. Working as a team, players must carry luggage toward their base. However, you’ll need to utilize the available conveyer belts to get around security checks, leaving your prizes open to nefarious actors from another team to sabotage.
Bring a Friend
Why suffer alone. Bring a friend in too. The newly announced Friend Pass allows players to invite friends to enjoy the cute chaos through Steam, with only one person needing to own Party Animals. Much like the Nintendo Switch game sharing feature, you’ll just need to have a friend download the Friend Pass version from the Steam store page at no cost and accept an invite form either Pc or Xbox owners.
New Year New Battle pass
A new battle Pass joins the fray, as well as new characters, and other goods to celebrate the Lunar new Year. The pass goes live on 8th February, while players looking to grab a new character can choose from the following:

Kola (Koala)
Spike (Hedgehog)
Shin (Elephant)
Snow (Samoyed)
Sunny (English Bulldog)
Lotus (Year of the Dragon/Loong)
Login gift between February 8 – 25th. Available in-store from March 1st.
