Myth of Empires Trailer Showcases Armored Mounted Wolves and Flying Sky Lanterns (and more)

Angela Game and Imperium Interactive are ready to unleash the v1.0 version of their MMORPG, Myth of Empires, in the coming weeks. To celebrate the impending release on February 21st, the team released an all-new trailer that showcases armored mounted wolves, flying sky lanterns, and much more. Developers describe the launch trailer as “a kingdom’s worth of features” and also adds in a bit of a teaser for future content.




The trailer offers viewers a look at Dongzhou Island, a new map coming in v1.0. It features volcanoes, sandy shores, glaciers, and bamboo forests that entice the player to explore. Developers have also added a realistic day-night cycle, various ecosystems, and different cultures.

v1.0 Gameplay Features

  • There will be new ways to traverse the world, including soaring gliders, climbing tools that will allow players to scale towering walls, rafts, warships, and giant sky lanterns.
  • New defensive structures and mechanical collection tools liberate players’ creativity and enable them to build ever more advanced and powerful empires.
  • Explore Dongzhou Island, an expansive new world featuring islets, volcanoes, seas, ships, and new boss content. This map is a free addition to the game.
  • There are new ways to play the game, including hosted and solo modes. In addition, private servers have been upgraded to have all the same functionality as the official servers.
  • Modding support and a robust modding tool give players more power over the world of Myth of Empires than ever before.
  • Simulated sieges and challenges on the three major battlefields (County Battles, Fortress Battles, and Prefecture Battles) that will allow PvE players to experience the game’s large-scale combat against NPCs and provide PvP players a chance to hone their strategic abilities.
  • New ways to tame animals, with additional inherited attributes, allow them to drive equipment more powerfully.
  • Playable musical instruments, including the guqin, the pan flute, the pipa, and more.
  • A new horse racing mode.
  • New characters, weapons, structures, saddles, and armor cosmetics will be released with updates after Version 1.0 is released.
