Nicholas Cage, is coming to Dead by Daylight on 5 July.
The legendary Ghost Rider himself is coming to Dead by Daylight. No, there’s not a Marvel crossover due for the online slasher. Instead, Nicholas Cage, yes the Nick Cage, is coming to this horror tinged online title. Announced just in time to break the internet over on social feeds, the news comes in the form of a teaser trailer. Developer Behaviour Interactive confirmed that the Hollywood star is “Coming to a realm near you.”. That’s pretty much all the details we’ve been given.

The 42 second snippet does give us a glimpse of Cage’ in game persona. Whether that is some hero, villain, or just Cage playing Cage, we don’t know yet. What we do know is that the next update to this asymmetrical adventure can’t come soon enough. We expect that this addition will add the popular star as a survivor, joining the players as they jump into an instanced world where one person takes on the role of a deadly killer, and four more try to outwit and escape this powerful adversary.
This isn’t the first time that cross overs have exploded onto the screen in Dead by Daylight. Recent tie ins include the Evil Dead Series, Halloween, and more. This hugely popular game is even getting its own movie adaptation, so maybe we will see Cage on the silver screen version too.
