The Expanse: A Telltale Series heads to The Belt when Chapter 1 launches on 27 July 2023.

Telltale has announced that sci-fi series the Expanse, is heading back to The Belt. On 27 July, the narrative studio’s spin on the sci-fi epic will come to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Epic Games. The news announcing a lift off for the first chapter in this new tale dropped yesterday, but we’ve been looking forward to lighting our Epstein Drive since the initial announcement in August 2022.

Players strapping in won’t pick up where the Rocinante left off. Instead, this spin off will follow the fate of Camina Drummer. It delves into the chequered past of the once OPA agent and takes place before the start of the Amazon series. As the XO of scavenging spaceship Artemis, as she attempts to forge a life in on the fringes of The Belt. Along the way she will face challenges from all corners, conflicting personalities, and a range of difficult decisions. Out in space, one wrong move can sentence an entire crew to a long cold death, after all. Drummer is an extremely popular character for fans of The Expanse, and the amalgamation of several character arcs into the TV iteration of this character gives Telltale plenty of foreshadowing to play with. It helps that Cara Gee is reprising her role as Carima for this game too.

After the release of Episode 1, the remaining four episodes will be releasing every two weeks from July 27, 2023, allowing players experience the exciting universe of The Expanse like never before.
