A Ninjala x Evangelion event landed in the bubble gum battler last night, adding tons of items from the classic mecha anime for free.

Get in Ninjala Shinji! Neon Genesis Evangelion is a sure-fire way to get me playing any game. The genre defining anime just landed in free to play brawler Ninjala and we’re definitely going to be breaking some limits and popping some AT-Fields to nab them. Players who missed the start of this epic anime event need not worry; this franchise crossover will hang around on Nintendo Switch until 9 August. That’s plenty of time to pick up skins representing your favorite characters or grab the event-exclusive Gum based on the Spear of Longinus!

Free Loot

Like any event in a free to play adventure, expect a mix of gratis and paid for items. Players logging in each day will find special collab items in their hands, once per day, and other items available to acquire. Starting from a 10 IPPON Gum (Knife), this list includes ten days of goodies that includes Gold Medals and cool Unit 00 Gums. You’ll also be able to grab rewards depending on the number of times you participate in Team Battles during the collab or receive a WILLE-themed costume by completing Shinobi Challenges.

Gacha and Gumball

The traditional in game Gumball Machines look likely to drop the most popular loot for this Ninjala x Evangelion event. Rei and Asuka themed items mean even more incredible looking Gums and two plug style suits to wear.
Going Shopping

The in-game shop also adds a bunch of enticing themed styles. Dress up your ninja as the rest of the mainline Eva cast. Kaworu, Shinji, Misato, and the entire Eva Unit line up inspire more items for the shop. Yes, you can dress up as an Eva. For players that missed the Honkai Impact Evangelion event, this is a great opportunity to grab a different set of Eva items.

Even among all this, I haven’t touched on the decorations, sounds, AT-Field emotes, stickers, and more. There’s still tons of time to grab all the loot before the event wraps up for the end of Evangelion x Ninjala crossover. Find out more on the official blog now.
