Not For Broadcast Episode 2 Airing Now

Not For Broadcast, the off the wall newsroom sim from Tinybuild, just released a new Episode 2 update for your viewing pleasure

Following on from the unusual and entirely enjoyable first foray into the world of misinformation, Tinybuild’s newsroom management sim Not for Broadcast just got a brand new update and it looks like it’s going to be just a chaotic as the first instalment. Available on PC, via Steam, the second chapter in this tale continues to thrust players into the National Nightly News Broadcast Centre hotseat and task them with keeping the nightly news on track, or at least on the air. As the country begins to tear itself to ribbons, it is up to you to manage four studios live feeds, censor unwanted language on the fly and cut to ads when it all goes wrong.

The Magic Of Television

Much like No More Robot’s Not Tonight, Not For Broadcast uses satire to take a direct look at media influence on a volatile public. While one took a direct shot at Brexit and human empathy, Not For Broadcast Episode 2 is set to ask a few questions about our own relationship with the media. Just like the first instalment of Not For Broadcast, this time round newscasters can expect a huge number of plots. The game has doubled in size so there’s lots of room to pit two warring factions against each other while using the improved gameplay mechanics to sow dissent, or not. If you didn’t catch our review then find out exactly why we have been waiting patiently for this update.
