Nuclear Blaze Blasting Its Way to Consoles

Nuclear Blaze

Red Art Games has announced that it is hard at work on the console port of Nuclear Blaze, the latest game from Sebastien Benard, the creator of the wildly popular Dead Cells. The game is being prepared for a worldwide release in early 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will feature all of the content that has been previously released for the PC version.

The game puts players into the boots of a firefighter dropped into the middle of a massive fire. The job is to keep things under control using his trusty hose while investigating the circumstances behind the disaster. The team has worked to ensure that players can complete each level thanks to smooth controls and “tight gameplay mechanics”.

Features

  • Unique 2D firefighting game
  • Smooth controls and gameplay mechanics
  • Beautiful pixel art graphics
  • Finely tuned difficulty settings
  • Kid Mode with special levels and controls created for younger players
  • “Hold my Beer” Mode adding hidden areas as well as new threats and tactical elements
  • Hidden cats to save

Sebastien Benard said of the work being done by Red Art Games, “Working with Red Art Games truly was a great pleasure. I know full well that this is what everybody expects to read in a press release, but in this case, the team put in some meticulous and high-quality work, which made the console port of Nuclear Blaze possible.”

During Gamescom 2022, the Red Art team will be on hand with an early version of the game where bloggers and content creators can get a first-hand look at how the port is coming along.
