Pentiment Arrives on Xbox and PC

Obsidian Entertainment has announced that its newest RPG Pentiment is now available across multiple systems. Players can get hold of the game for $19.99 on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows 10/11, Steam, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Pentiment has garnered stellar reviews from sites around the globe.

Players will dive into 16th Century Bavaria and set off in the boots of Andreas Maler. He is a journeyman artist from Nuremberg. Along his journey, Andreas will have to make consequential choices and face the consequences of his action as they “ripple throughout this small community for years to come.” According to the development team, the game is rooted in history and “entirely dependent on player choice.” Players will have opportunities to investigate the town’s scandals along the way to saving a close friend.

Obsidian developers released an all-new behind-the-scenes trailer that offers insight into the game’s development and thoughts on its historical context.
