Ripstone Games has announced the release of The River update for Poker Club. The River brings a host of content to the game including custom community tournaments, new prizes, a new venue, and much more. According to the development team, the content expansion is laying the foundation for the game’s future.
The major features of The River update include:
- The Manor House venue patterned after classic British country homes. Look for lots of polished wood and leather.
- Poker Nights 2.0 allows hosts more control and customization over their matches. This includes spectator options, the invite code system, and full support for platform friends lists for Steam and Xbox. The PS4/5 version will come at a later date.
- Streamlined UI and UX including a TV-style experience with important information about your hand and opponents.
- Exclusive Community Event Prizes earned in tournaments. These include custom trophies, new outfits, and table accessories.
- Gameplay upgrades including AI updates, refined player labeling, leaderboard updates, improved matchmaking, graphical upgrades, and performance enhancements.
The team is aiming to bring quality updates to the game on a monthly basis. These updates are largely driven by the community via the PC Discord channel where players can provide feedback to the dev team.
