River Tails: Stronger Together Leaps into Early Access on Steam

River Tails: Stronger Together brings an unlikely duo into Early Access today for a beautifully animated adventure.

a cat called Furple and a fish called Finn might not sound like likely friends, but this duo is out for adventure today. Gravity Game Arise and Italian indie duo Kid Onion Studio have just launched a new title into Steam Early Access that looks every bit the purrfect co-op adventure. Available now, with a 20% launch discount, this cartoon caper asks players to take control of these two allies and navigate a series of cunning challenges to get a lost fur ball back home.

After slipping down into the valley, far from home, players need to grab a controller and guide Furple back home. Thankfully, you won’t be alone aren’t alone. This co-op title allows players to take control of curious and vivacious Furple or the cool and ambitious Finn, and work together to traverse the fun but dangerous river. Piranhas, frogs, spikes, traps, secrets, and friendly beavers. As you’d imagine, each character has their own skillset and personality.

While winding down the river, you’ll get to explore plenty of environments. This version of the game will open up wo unique levels for players to explore. The river forest is where the duo first meets and learns how to work together, while the temple of the frogs is a less forgiving realm. After getting past some dastardly frogs, you’ll even be able to visit a beaver resort.

If you’re a fan of It takes Two or Biped, then it’s likely time to take on this platformer. You can catch River Tails: Stronger Togethe over on the offical Steam Store at RRP $19.99, now. Console gamers will have to wait until Q3 2023 for the expected release on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox.
