Rune II: Decapitation Edition Receives the Duplicity Update

Studio 369 has announced the release of the Duplicity Update to Rune II: Decapitation Edition. Players will find new content and fixes spread across the entirety of the game including dual weapon-wielding, new PvP battle royale modes, and the newly added Goblin Mines Dungeon. To showcase the new content, developers released a trailer and revealed a sweet 50% off discount during the Steam Winter Sale.

Devs will be taking part in daily PvP play sessions in the two new battle royale modes, Last Viking Standing and Last Clan Standing. These events take place from 3 pm – 5 pm Pacific / 6 pm – 9 pm Eastern on a daily basis. They’ve also announced the “Kill [Dev]Mitch If You Can” contest. “He’s got $20 per kill that says you can’t”. Sounds like a sweet way to earn a bit of loot!

For those looking for some holiday cheer, developers announced a gift for community members in thanks for providing feedback and reviews given since launch. Players can claim the Wolf Gear and Weapons set simply by entering the game.
