Developer Sabotage Studio shared the announcement trailer for a turn-based RPG Sea of Stars. The game follows the story of two Children of Solstice that can combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic. Coincidentally, that magic is the only foce capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.
Promising the Sabotage touch in every system, the game aims to modernize the classic RPG in terms of turn-based combat, storytelling, exploration and interactions with the environment, while still offering a hearty slice of nostalgia and good old, simple fun.
Sea of Stars will release on all target platforms on August 29, 2023. Coincidentally, the release will happen precisely 5 years after the launch of the studio’s previous game, The Messenger.
