Shadow Essential Boots Up An Inexpensive Cloud PC

Shadow just announced a new Shadow Essential Cloud PC that is perfect for a bit of online Minecraft adventuring.

Shadow just slashed the entry cost for its online cloud PCs with the news that you’ll be able to grab a Shadow Essentials PC for just $9.99 every month. The new budget cloud pc might sounds like a fantastic deal but this is probably the sort of announcement that is more suited to a bit of Minecraft or on the go League of Legends, since it comes without a GPU. Ditching the GPU means that Shadow Cloud customers can get on the go connectivity and compute with plenty of the company’s low latency bandwidth, but without throwing graphics cards at the problem.

While that might sound like a fantastic deal for Valorant players, it does come with a couple of caveats. The product seems to be more of a business device. The new range fit into the Shadow PC Pro and Shadow PC Enterprise offerings. This provides 4GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, alongside 1Gbps download, 100 Mbps upload, and connectivity across everything from a web browser to your failing chromebook. While the news does mean some of you might have the option to dabble in some indie gaming while in the cloud, most of us wil have to wait and see if this ever arrives as a low end gaming offering. Find out more about everything Shadow and how to get a GPU in the cloud over at the official website.
