Zero Latency VR and HTC are offering gamers a chance to win $15,000 and HTC Vive headsets by shooting VR Zombies.

VR experiences outfit, Zero Latency, is out to spook you up and giveaway some serious cash money prizes with the worldwide VR competition, Champions of the Undead. Kicking of today and running until 6 September 2023, the new immersive competition will find out just who is the most efficient undead destroyer, and then play for some epic prizes. Players crowned as the highest-scoring zombie slayer will be crowned, receiving $15,000 USD prize money. Runners up will score a VIVE XR Elite worth $1,099 USD to continue exploring new possibilities at home.

To lock and load up into this VR action, the Zero latency community will be battling the undead across one of its most popular games, Undead Arena. To participate, all players need to do is go to one of the 70+ Zero Latency venues worldwide. Once on site, they can slip on a headset and face off against the hordes. The top player from each region will be flown to Las Vegas for the Grand Final, where they will eventually compete for the grand prize.

For those that haven’t heard of Zero Latency or Undead Arena in the past, this is the perfect chance to try it out. Zero latency provide a unique take on the VR experience. Unlike at home headsets, the Zero Latency locations allow for a fully free roaming VR adventure, without walls or wires to sneak up on you. Just jump in with 1-8 players, grab a gun, and shoot to survive a ravenous ring of undead.
