Developer Lavapotion is sending the message to all Wielders: Songs of Conquest Map Making Contest is upon us! The winner will receive a 1000 USD prize and see their map added to the official map pool. There are some lovely prizes for the runners-up as well!
The contest is held together with the Mod.io, the group providing cross-platform mod support and hosting the player-created maps. The competition will be running between April 3rd and April 28th, with the winners being announced on May 12th via the official Twitter account.
Here’s what is expected of the participants:
- Large map size;
- Stick to the default values when working with entities;
- Winners’ Criteria are “Fun to play, good visuals, and best overall fit with the game.”
- The contest is not focused on lore or story;
- Tag your map with “spring map contest” after uploading your map to Mod.io;
