Spirittea Spills Over onto Console PC Next Month

Spirittea player with spirits in a bathhouse

Spirittea launches next month, bringing a Ghibli inspired slice of life to PC and console on 13 November.

Cure café, adorable shrines, and Yokai in the bathhouse. It’s all deliberately Ghibli and coming to Nintendo Switch, Game Pass, and PC via Steam in a few weeks. Due to pour out a good story on 13 November 2023, Spirittea is a rural slice of life sim that brings together indie vibes with a whole heap of Spirited Away charm. This new getaway will set you back a whole $19.99 / £16.75 / 19.50 euros., less than a real-life winter break, and might very well ease away the memories of the daily grind.

Fans of Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, and related life sims will find familiar fare with Spirittea. Coming out of developer Cheesemaster Games and published by the outfit behind Let’s Build A Zoo, this title follows a write who has escaped to the countryside. After accidently drinking from a mystical teapot, this simple mistake turns their life around, as they begin to see the spirit world. Wonyan, a nuisance cat spirit and faithful guide, shows our writer how many spirits need saving — and hands over the keys to an old bathhouse, where spirits go to relax.
Custodians of the bathhouse will need to establish relationship with the local spirits, find NPCs to help run the establishment, run a burgeoning business, expand the bathing facilities, decorate, and attract the most exciting spirits in the realm.

This charming adventure will be ready for you to pick up the keys soon, but you can find out more on the Spirittea Steam page now.
