EA has announced that Super Mega Baseball 4 is now available across several video game platforms. Players can suit up on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Oddly, the game is not available via the EA App but will be released on it “at a later date.”
SMB4 is the latest game in the long-running series and offers players the chance to play baseball with some of the sport’s most enduring legends and some of today’s modern stars. It’s all done using a light-hearted visual style that’s sure to please fans of all stripes.
EA has brought over two hundred of baseball’s biggest names into the long-running series. This includes David “Big Papi” Ortiz, Jose Bautista, Babe Ruth, and Hank Aaron, to name a few.
One of the most notable new features coming to SMB4 is full cross-play action among all available platforms. Players can participate in Pennant Race and Online Leagues and form teams from all platforms.

- Baseball Legends: Over 200 baseball legends are integrated across Super Mega Baseball 4, alongside beloved Super Mega Baseball characters. Play in a league of baseball legends with teams organized by era, or mix things up with Shuffle Draft, a new feature that allows you to draft both Legends and Super Mega All-Stars to create a unique roster.
- New Platforms & Cross-Play: Super Mega Baseball 4 is expanding to PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S for the first time, including all-important cross-play in Pennant Race and Online Leagues on new platforms, as well as PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC.
