Transformers Battlegrounds Rolls Onto PC And Console Today

Transformers Battlegrounds is out now and set to save us from the Decepticons on PC and console right now.

Rolling right out of our favorite automotive toy franchise, Transformers Battlegrounds is available today, for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Taking the much-loved characters from the Transformers series of comics, cartoon, and toy line, developer Outright Games and Hasbro Inc are set to plunge players into intense tactical combat and tells an original story for Transformers fans of all ages.

Old School Autobots

Featuring classic characters like Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Starscream, and Megatron the brand new battle in Transformers Battlegrounds tasks players with battling for control of the legendary AllSpark. This powerful relic holds the fate of the transformer factions and it is up to you to fight for the future of Cybertron and Earth. Combat takes place across an array of diverse levels, including iconic locations such as Central City and Cybertron, as players engage in single-player and co-op gameplay.

“We are incredibly honoured to have the opportunity to work with Hasbro and create a new take on this iconic franchise,” says Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. “We have grown up with the Transformers Universe and are excited to be involved with the publication of this game.”

The latest in a line of Transformers titles takes a lead from Transformers Devastation in leaning towards the classic cartoon aesthetic rather than then newer movie universe. Hopefully, it will be just as engaging as Platinum’s beat em up. Players looking forward to picking a mechanized fight, have the option of purchasing the Standard Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, with the addition of bonus character cosmetics and the CUBE arcade game mode alongside the base game. Find out more and roll out to save the universe over at the official Transformers Battlegrounds website today.
