In the depths of the hive city, a new penance system provides hope against the growing darkness. Players shooting their way out of this unforgiving situation will soon have a reworked penance system in pace. In the Mourningstar: Hestia will be in charge of keeping a record of the rejects’ penances and will join the rest of the Mourningstar crew in voice-overs during missions. A total of 200+ new penances will give players plenty of additional challenge and over 100 rewards. Insignias, portrait frames, emotes, poses, weapon trinkets, and cosmetics are all lootable. This isn’t simply free grab, however. The new content installs a bunch of tricky puzzles, challenges, and collectibles around this industrial maze, and the Dreg Tox Bomber now roams the hallways of a city ion peril.

This isn’t all that the update adds, but players who love the Warhammer universe and ant something a little different to the End Times of Vermintide can check out this blistering co-op shooter that delves into a city under siege now. Get ahead of the Path of Redemption across PC, via Steam, and Xbox soon.
