Warhaven is ready for the spooky season with new Halloween events and the Bard.
Nexon just announced a ton of new content for medieval PvP brawler, Warhaven. The Kill and conquer title might still be in Pc Early Access, but players who picked up the sword and rushed into battel back in September can still expect plenty of updates. The new content comes as part of the official Pre-Season 1 launch. Dropping onto the battlefield on 19 October for most of the world, there’s more than just a few decorations to this update.
The Bard
The Bard is ready to join the fray and lay down some sick tunes to liven up the battlefield! Moving away from the traditional hack and slash of other combat focused characters, this new option wields an oversized lute and extravagant attire. The upbeat support should mean more strategic play, as the buffs come rolling in to the rest of your team. If you can’t be bothered with playing with your head, then the bard can also tank a little. Did we mention you’ll be able to whack plated players into oblivion with a massive lute?
Events
While Nexon hasn’t released a great deal of information on the events that are set to spook up Warhaven, there’s still plenty of time to prepare for whatever comes crashing into game. For those that missed the initial arrival, Warhaven is a medieval team based PvP experience. Heading online with friends of teammates, players can grab a sword or hammer and get smashing across a range of intense combat modes. From Deathmatch to Siege. With a range of shiny plated character options and plenty of brutal combat, this has obvious comparisons to For Honor, but the general consensus here is that it just plays better than Ubisoft’s ill-fated brawler. You can check out more about Warhaven on the official Steam Store page now.
