Immortals of Aveum

Immortals of Aveum

The Immortals of Aveum was a highly anticipated fantasy shooter game that came to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series X/S in 2023. Developed by EA, this first-person RPG is an immersive gaming experience that attempted to break the FPS genre tropes. Players picking up the release were transported across the Five Kingdoms of Aveum, where heroes contend with powerful magic, and epic battles. Despite its innovative story line and stunning graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5, the Immortals of Aveum faced disappointing sales and a mixed reception upon its 2023 release. However, don’t let that deter you from exploring this fantastical realm. The tale of battlemages in a fight to save the world unlocks next week on PS5.

Skul: The Hero Slayer

Skul The Hero Slayer - Console Launch Announcement

Another fantasy focused adventure. Skull the Hero Slayer is an action roguish where a Skul, a seemingly insignificant skeleton, toils in the service of some dark masters. After the forces of good raid your dark homestead, it’s up to you to go save the rest of your comrades. Hack down some heroic figures and loot their heads to absorb their powers, and then continue scrolling on to hack some more. Released across PC and console  since it’s  launch in 2021, it’s garnered millions of players across the world. Now, this decidedly cute and different adventure comes to more gamers with one big battle for the baddies on PS4.

Minecraft Legends

Build, explore, and play Minecraft in a new way. Minecraft legends comes to PS4 and PS5 as part of this month’s PS Plus games. Pick up the controller and uncover the mysteries of Minecraft Legends in this action-packed strategy game. Explore a vibrant land teeming with resources and diverse biomes on the verge of devastation. The menacing piglins have invaded, and the task falls on you to forge alliances with both new companions and familiar mobs. Take charge in epic battles against the formidable piglins to protect the Overworld. Engage in challenging battles with friends or team up for intense online play with up to eight players. Lead your units to victory as you defend your village and strive to conquer your opponents’ settlements.
