Wild Woods Escapes The Barn For Steam Remote Play Together Event

wild woods - steam remote play demo with cats deending a wagon

One Goat, Four Kittens, and a cute cop op adventure in Wild Woods.

The latest Steam Next Fest event is over, but the next wave of indie action is already kicking off on the digital platform. The Remote Play Together is a new cavalcade of co-op action where players can get together locally or over remote play and take on titles like Wild Woods. The adorable action adventure from Daedalic Entertainment and Octofox Games is open for a quick quest in the wilderness with a new demo too.

Like many of the Steam Remote Play escapades, Wild Woods is a couch co-op game full of multiplayer action, teamwork and woodland critters. One to four players take on the role of brave little cats defending their wooden wagon. As the animals of this green homestead try to defend the wagon from bandit bunnies and badgers. A range of potential routes unfold along the way and players must work together to navigate these sparsely populated paths.

The forest does, however, drop bountiful gifts. A thriving forest means there are plenty of resources to collect, upgrades to craft, and hopefully get the wagon to its destination. With cute combat, a fun idea, and big badger bashing chaos, Wild Woods might be worth a look if whether you have a couch for this co-op or not. Grab one to four controllers and check out more on the Steam Store page now.
