Normally, only a few select press get access to CD Projekt Red’s newest titles. The lines are long, the security is tight, and normal gamers just don’t get a look in. That’s about to change. In a social media post, the developer confirmed that their near future RPG will land in London. Coming to McM Comic Con and EGX Expo, Cyberpunk 2077 is about to give fans of the future 45 minutes of live game footage in a custom-built 200+ seater stadium.

Unfortunately, that does mean all you Samurais you won’t get to go hands-on with the game and we don’t have details on the full presentation yet. What we do know is that our preview of the game back at Gamescom was very encouraging, having moved on significantly since our last preview. Set in a dystopian future where the normal boundaries between reality and the net are barely even a blurred line anymore, you are plunged into a high stakes adventure to unravel the mysterious voice that is now riding shotgun in your head.

Crammed full of hardware, upcoming adventures, and just released blockbuster, EGX takes place at London’s Excel on 17 to 20 October. McM Comic Con is an altogether different affair. Also landing in the Excel, this celebration of everything geek is crammed full of anime, action, video games, TV, talks, photo opportunities, and more. It’s also crammed to the brim full of amazing cosplay. You can find out how to grab a ticket to both of these on the EGX and McM website now.
